Cooper is a mature male Husky cross Africanis. He was picked up as a stray on an open property in Cloverdene. He had significant muscular degeneration in his front leg from a chain that had wrapped itself around his leg injuring the leg and depriving it of proper blood circulation. We can only speculate that he had been chained up and injured himself trying to escape. After numerous hydrotherapy sessions and rehabilitation in order to correct the damage to his leg and get him to trust humans again, his leg has completely healed and Cooper is a super loveable character. He is social with other doggies and thrives on human attention, cats however are a no no. He loves going walkies and a good splash in a pond on a hot day. Cooper has been with us at TAG for 4 years now patiently waiting for his furrever human to come along. If you are interested in adopting Cooper, please fill out an adoption application below or pop in and meet Cooper at our Shelter.
